Encompassing six decades of extraordinary work, "Avedon Fashion 1944-2000" includes more than 200 works by Richard Avedon, from vintage prints and magazine layouts to contact sheets and personal correspondence. Showing Avedon's groundbreaking early work for Harper's Bazaar to his later work at "Vogue", "Egoiste" and "The New Yorker", this volume represents a major retrospective of the photographer's work. The book has been assembled by Carol Squiers, curator at the International Center of Photography and photography critic Vince Aletti.
