XXII These are the Major Arcana of the Tarot de Marseille deck. The origin of the Tarot is unknown. No one knows where or when they were created. The etymology of the word is also unknown, as is the possible language of origin. They are considered to be a path of initiatory knowledge which starts with the classic card game on which they are initially based. The Tarot fulfils its true purpose when it is used to help others by showing them the different Arcana transformed into mirrors of the soul. XXII represents the crossed fates, the paths that, by chance or destiny, meet in a place. A singular place in which one can witness the condensation of unusual experiences, in which dream and reality mix together, giving life to what can be seen as a suspended, almost surreal reality.This becomes a place for the celebration of life, where transformation and reconstruction keep the scene in a constant state of flux, suspended between space and time. XXII These are the characters, the entities that animate the place. This process of getting to know each other and meeting started by chance, from a request for a Tarot card reading by the characters. This encounter establishes a direct channel between both actors involved, giving rise to a deeper understanding and bringing out an archetypal snapshot of the consultant's unconscious formed by the arcana coming out of the reading. The experience ends with the creation of photographic images aimed at telling, through the use of symbols and archetypal elements within the scene, the unconscious of the subject under my personal interpretation of reality. The tarot therefore prevents us from foreseeing the narrative development but imposes a confrontation with the present time and with the element of chance aimed at the creation of oniric images that would otherwise remain in the substratum of consciousness. - T.
